PD Leading Enterprises is an independent, not-for-profit business established in 1994 to provide training and employment opportunities to people with psychiatric disorders.

PD Leading Enterprises operates under the umbrella of PDLE Inc (formerly Aid To Useful Living – ATUL) which was founded in 1960 and incorporated in 1961 to assist people suffering psychiatric disabilities. ATUL’s charter is to improve the lot of those suffering from or disabled by mental disorder by assisting in their restoration to normal health and general rehabilitation. PD Leading Enterprises upholds this charter.

ATUL is still operating and while its structure has changed and evolved with the times, its activities remain the same. Its charter is still strictly adhered to by its board members who give their time voluntarily and free of charge.

PD Leading Enterprises is one of the services provided under the broad umbrella of ATUL.
